3-Hour Diet
3-Hour Diet is developed by Jorge Cruise and is based on the idea that eating once in three hours during the day will reduce the cortisol levels and lead to weight loss. One of the aims of the diet is to increase the lean muscle mass and the three hour eating schedule is also intended to make sure that the dieter is losing fat and not muscle. 3-Hour Diet claims that cortisol is related to 'belly fat' and following the diet should lead to reduction in additional fat around the waist. The timing of the eating is as important as what the dieter eats.
According to the 3-Hour Diet site, if the dieter eats once in three hours, he would lose weight beginning with the belly fat. The three rules of the diet are, eat once in three hours, eat breakfast one hour after waking up and stop eating three hours before going to bed. There is no restriction on the groups of foods that can be eaten. Guidelines for portion sizes such as the quantity and the type of food to be consumed are provided. The dieter is expected to 'weigh in' every Sunday. Based on the '3-Hour Diet at Home' plan, meals and snacks are delivered at home to the dieter on a weekly basis.
The 3-Hour Diet is good for those who possess fat around their waist. Similarly, if the dieter is concerned with maintaining or enhancing lean muscle mass and not just shedding pounds, this program makes sense with regular meals and snacks blended with simple exercise.
