Cabbage soup diet

Day 1: Cabbage soup as much as possible, tea, coffee, fruit, cranberry juice and water
Day 2: Cabbage soup, baked potato, vegetables except beans, peas or sweet corn and no fruit
Day 3: Cabbage soup combined with fruit and vegetables, excluding potatoes and bananas
Day 4: Cabbage soup, eight bananas and as much skimmed milk as you like
Day 5: Cabbage soup, 10-20 ounces of beef, tomatoes, skinless chicken or broiled fish may be consumed in place of beef and 6-8 glasses of water
Day 6: Cabbage soup, vegetables, beef and no potato
Day 7: Cabbage soup, vegetables, fruit juices and brown rice. Alcohol or carbonated drinks have to be avoided
The advantage of this cabbage soup diet is that it offers low-calories food items and helps clean the body system of some impurities. The claim that cabbage acts as a fat-burner is technically not clear. In spite of the main ingredient, the system is not designed for vegetarians. The keys to success in this system are
1. Following the diet regularly.
2. Consume a minimum of 4 glasses of water.
3. Remember that it is only for seven days.
4. Add multivitamin tablet to the diet.
5. Take as much soup as possible
6. Add different spices to invigorate the soup and add novelty
This cabbage soup diet program requires a lot of planning and regular shopping trips for vegetables and fruit. Man y people are attracted to the short term diet in order to lose weight quickly. It is not sustainable as a solution for weight loss in the long term. The ingredients of the cabbage soup are quite healthy.
